Literacy is what makes the world go round in every way possible because literacy allows for knowledge and knowledge is power and because of that literacy is the slice of life that everyone should enjoy! Based on that, I feel that without the ability to read and write, mankind is unable to properly function because there is no foundation for adequate communication.
